The House

The property itself was architect designed with no expense spared to make the most of its fantastic river-side setting.  Secreted away on the highly desirable Beacon Road, you enter ‘The Edge’ from the street via its cedar wood bifold doors.  Descend from first floor level via the gorgeous wooden spiral staircase enjoying your first view of Dartmouth Castle through the perfectly positioned staircase window.

 

Kitchen

Located on the ground floor the fully equipped modern, stylish kitchen has a Siemens electric oven and hob, built-in fridge and dishwasher, microwave, Dualit kettle and toaster.

 

Lounge

At the front, the living area has a two-seater sofa and a pair of relaxing chairs where you can sit and enjoy the spectacular views of the River Dart and Dartmouth.  Should you ever tire of the views, entertainment is provided by a large wall-mounted flat screen TV.  In the winter months a log burner is available to help you snuggle in.

 

Dining

In-between the kitchen and the lounge there is a dining area with bespoke benches suitable for four people to sit and relax whilst enjoying your meals and taking in the stunning river vista. 

 

Sleeping

To find bedroom one, the Master-Suite, climb the amazing wooden spiral staircase to the first floor. Consisting of a Super Kingsize bed with bespoke fitted wardrobes and drawers. Two bedside lamps and a small wall-mounted flat-screen TV complete the room. The luxury en-suite bathroom has a large rainfall shower, W.C, wash basin, and heated towel rail. There are sliding patio doors leading out onto the wrap-around glass and teak decked balcony for you to enjoy an exquisite view of the River Dart, Dartmouth Castle and the English Channel beyond from the two teak carver chairs.

 

Bedroom two is located on ground floor with a view of the outside garden.  It also features a Super Kingsize bed, bespoke fitted wardrobes and drawers with matching bedside wall-mounted lamps. A small wall mounted flat screen TV is provided. The beautiful and spacious en-suite bathroom has a large rainfall shower, luxurious marbled bath with a stylish mirrored panel, a large wash-basin and a heated towel rail.

 

Cloakroom

On the ground floor there is a well appointed W.C.

 

Outside

Step outside and the views get even better.  From the large ground floor decked and glass balcony, perched literally on the edge, you can enjoy the exquisite views of the river, Dartmouth Castle and out to sea.  For your comfort and to make the most of those al-fresco moments there is a teak dining table with seating for four, a teak bench with the killer sea view and 2 teak sun loungers for those lazy moments.

 

In the garden area there is an additional separate seating area with rattan sofa and matching chairs.

 

Utility

A utility area is fitted in the garage with a double sink, additional fridge, as well as a freezer anwashing machine.
